Story
Tucson Food Tours, founded in 2012 by Bradner and Maria Lawrence, is proud to be Tucson's first walking culinary tour.
Born from their love of Tucson, its vibrant culinary scene, and the great outdoors, Brad and Maria combined their 18+ years of experience in the food and beverage industry to create an engaging way to showcase the city’s rich flavors and unique charm.
The idea for Tucson Food Tours came from a simple yet common question they often heard: “What is there to do in Tucson?” With deep roots in the local service industry and friendships across Tucson's restaurant and bar community, they always had recommendations for must-visit spots. Inspired by their experiences on walking food tours in other cities, Brad and Maria decided it was time to bring this concept to Tucson, especially as downtown was blossoming into a hub for innovative restaurants and live entertainment.
Today, Tucson Food Tours celebrates and supports locally owned businesses, offering a memorable way for visitors and residents alike to explore Tucson's culinary treasures. Each tour highlights some of Brad and Maria’s favorite local spots, combining delicious tastings with a glimpse into the city’s history and culture. Whether you're new to Tucson or a lifelong local, Tucson Food Tours invites you to experience the best of the city, one bite at a time.
